Summit Awards

Recognize the commitment of your Managers, Physicians, Nurses, Administrators, Service Excellence Council, and more. These awards are open to healthcare facilities participating in the Employer of Choice – Service Excellence Initiative™.   Ask your Service Excellence Initiative™ Program Director for information on submitting a Summit nomination.

• North American-wide recognition program established and managed by the HealthCare Service Excellence Association.
• Any facility that is part of the Service Excellence Initiative^TM are eligible to participate.
• Summit Award achievers are presented with an engraved trophy and a certificate.
• The Top 3 Nominees will also be recognized during the conference as “Pinnacle Achievers” and will be presented with a certificate.

The 2008 Night of Excellence and Summit Awards Banquet

The 2008 Summit Awards Ceremonies and Banquet will take place on Friday, November 7 in Louisville, Kentucky. The Summit Awards is a prestigious recognition program that celebrates exceptional customer service achievements in healthcare and in initiatives for improving:

• the quality of service to patients/ customers
• the quality of work life for healthcare professionals
• the performance of healthcare organizations

NOTE:  If there are fewer than three suitable nominees for any category, the award may not be presented. Nominations close at 12:00 midnight on August 29, 2008.
