Dennis Heck, FACHE,
Vice President,
Service Development
|
| Dennis
Heck, FACHE’s career includes 12 years as President and CEO of a
large integrated health system serving northern Indiana and
southern Michigan. He was responsible for leadership of a
multiple facility system engaged in acute care, long term care,
home care, primary physician medical care and the development of
managed care products. This included 2500 fte's and a medical
staff organization of more than 500 physicians.
More recently he was Vice President at Press Ganey – responsible
for the development of strategic partnerships which enabled it
to realize its goals related to growth and profitability.
Dennis is currently Vice President of Educational Services at
Custom Learning Systems Group Ltd., where he serves as an
educator and mentor to clients across the United States and
Canada as they engage in the exclusive CLS cultural
transformation process. An ACHE Fellow for 15 years, Dennis is
also an associate faculty member at the Universities of Indiana
and Notre Dame and teaches healthcare administration at graduate
and undergraduate levels.

Michele Weston, CSP,
Implementation Specialist

Michele is nationally recognized for her
expertise in long-term care. Since 1989, she has
facilitated strategic planning, conducted leadership
development and presented customer service training to
over 80 continuing care retirement communities and
assisted living facilities.
Michele is known as “The Attitude Adjuster” and she
has written several books and training resources on the
topic, including the best-selling book Attitude: The
Choice is Yours and the award-winning training video Bad
Apples: How to Deal with Difficult Attitudes.
As an organizational development specialist, she has
the unique ability to challenge the minds and at the
same time touch the hearts of people at every level
within a company, from the board of directors to the

Michael Bayer,
CSP, MBA
Implementation Specialist

An author of two books, he is
currently co-authoring “Keep Your Pharmacists and
Pharmaceutical Workers for Life.” with Brian Lee,
CSP. His experience encompasses senior management and
consulting positions in both public and private sector
organizations including Human Resources Development
Canada, NavCanada, and AT&T.
Michael is a University of Winnipeg
graduate, holding Bachelors Degrees in both Arts and
Science. He recently received his MBA and is currently
pursuing a PhD in Management at California Coast
University.
He was awarded The Canadian
Association of Professional Speakers Winnipeg Chapter,
Presentation Mastery Award for Speaking Excellence in
2004. He was a finalist in the 1998 World Championship
of Public Speaking. Michael is a member of The Canadian
Association of Professional Speakers, The Canadian
Association for Therapeutic Humour, The Society of
American Magicians and The University of Winnipeg Alumni
Association. He currently serves on the Board of Regents
of the University of Winnipeg. |

Sue Butts-Dion, Implementation
Specialist

Sue
has over eighteen years of
management consulting experience in the health care
industry, predominantly spent supporting clients in the
implementation of system-wide quality improvement
projects and in improving customer service.
Sue
is a team builder and has successfully supported many
clients in developing and implementing their improvement
objectives. Because Sue is a skilled communicator and
facilitator with the interpersonal skills to interact
with broad and diverse groups, she rapidly engenders the
trust and confidence necessary for a team to perform
efficiently.
Sue
has worked as a Customer Service and Strategic Quality
Management Consultant in a full-time or adjunct
consulting capacity since 1992. In 2004, she has
expanded her consulting functions to include the
physician practice arena where she is involved as
project director and improvement advisor to several
projects for the Center for Children’s Healthcare
Improvement at the University of North Carolina in
Chapel Hill, NC and the Center for Health Care Quality
Improvement with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical
Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
